Our client has a vacancy for a Production Supervisor. Applicants must have a good engineering background and experience in a heavy engineering workshop environment is preferable.
You must have previous supervisory experience and resource planning skills, and be familiar with manufacturing systems, lean manufacturing methodologies and working to quality standards.
The role involves managing and mentoring a team of 5 production fitters, ensuring quality and testing standards are maintained, liasing with project managers and managing and co-ordinating sub-contract resources.
Salary is £28-£31k per annum, plus benefits, and is dependant on skills and experience.
